how to get there
the closest airport is in greensboro (gso). greensboro is about 30 minutes from winston-salem and about an hour from rosa lee manor. we suggest that you stay in winston-salem in one of our recommended hotels. you can also fly into charlotte or raleigh/durham, but you’re drive will be about 1 ½ to 2 hours…however, these are bigger airports and flights are often cheaper. you will also need to rent a car, unfortunately there is no mass transit system to get you to winston (or anywhere for that matter).

about rosa lee manor
rosa lee manor is a 5000 sq. ft. colonial style home built in 1989, located in the midst of more than 200 acres of scenic beauty. named for rosa lee hunter, the paternal grandmother of the current owners, the farm has been in the hunter family for nearly 300 years.

• rosa lee manor is at a higher elevation then winston; this may make for a cooler night then a typical september evening in north carolina. you may want to bring a light jacket or wrap.
• the ceremony will take place outside on grass. stilettos are not recommended!
• the drive from highway 52 to rosa lee is a little off the beaten path. look out for our signs to guide your way. it’s not hard to find, but the entrance sign is a little small.
• after you’ve had a blast at our reception, and danced your butt off, make sure you have a designated driver, it will be dark when you leave and there are not many streetlights on your way back to the highway. we want everyone to get home safely!
• if you would like to ride in style, we can point you in the direction of a limo service…or party bus!
